Bose is one of the world’s leading developers and producers of audio products and places a big emphasis on research and technology. This is only possible as the company is privately owned and 100 per cent of yearly profit is reinvested. The largest part of the investment flows into research. For more than 25 years the company has been operating successfully as a partner of the automotive industry.

The cooperation with Porsche began in 2001. Today every Porsche model can be fitted with a Bose Sound-System as an optional extra (exception: 911 GT3). The Bose Automotive GmbH was honoured with the “2008 Supplier of the Year” award for its “outstanding performances in co-operation with the Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche Aktiengesellschaft“– the award stands for partnership, communication and commitment. The company additionally received the renowned “Supplier Award 2008“. This close and successful cooperation was extended in 2006: since then Bose has been a sponsor of the Porsche-Tennis-Grand-Prix and underlines the high sporting standard and the lifestyle character of the tournament with musical entertainment.
