Tatjana Malek still on the up

Stuttgart. Tatjana Malek returned to the limelight at the 2009 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix after a serious illness had forced her to take a long break from the game. The local hero was given the chance to appear in the Porsche Arena by the readers of the “BILD Stuttgart” newspaper. They had voted for the player from a local tennis club to be awarded a wildcard in a joint Porsche Tennis Grand Prix and BILD Stuttgart competition. Shortly afterwards she crowned her impressive comeback by winning the 50,000 dollar tournament in Ismaning, Germany. She again recently made the headlines after her success at the 25,000 dollar event in Stockholm.
