Television
The Eurosport and Eurosport 2 sports channels are expected to televise live up to 19 matches out of the Porsche Arena.

Tickets
Tickets are available via the Easy Ticket service – either by phone on +49 711-2555-555 or the Internet at www.easyticket.de and at the Porsche Arena’s box offices for the duration of the tournament. Prices range from five to 75 euro depending on the day and seating category. Tournament week tickets are available for 280 and 316 euro. Also available are ticket specials and there are various attractive ticket packages for the semifinals and final.

721,000 US dollars total prize money

Main Prize
The winner will receive a Porsche sports car in addition to the prize money.

Status Porsche Tennis Grand Prix
The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is one out of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour’s 20 Premier Events. It is the highest tournament category after the four Grand Slam tournaments. Since 2009 the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is played indoors on red clay as first tournament in tennis history.

A total of 38,000 spectators were party to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix live in the Porsche Arena.

First Porsche Tennis Grand Prix
First played in 1978, it is therefore Europe’s oldest women’s indoor tournament. The first winner was the American Tracy Austin, who went on to win the next three Grand Prix.

The Most Successful
Martina Navratilova (USA), six wins; Tracy Austin (USA) and Martina Hingis (SUI), four wins each; Lindsay Davenport (USA) three wins; Anke Huber (GER), Kim Clijsters (BEL) and Justine Henin (BEL) two wins each.

Men’s Grand Prix
The only Porsche Tennis Grand Prix for men was held in 1979. Two Porsche Grand Prix took place in that year. For the record: the Pole Wojtek Fibak beat the Argentine Guillermo Vilas in the final and won a Porsche 928.
