What a debut: Antonia Lottner won her opening match against the Belarusian No. 1 in her first ever Fed Cup appearance in Minsk in February 2018 to contribute a vital point in Porsche Team Germany’s sensational Fed Cup victory. After Annika Beck, Carina Witthöft and Anna-Lena Friedsam, Antonia Lottner is already the fourth Porsche Talent Team player to make the step up to the Fed Cup team.

By supporting up-and-coming youngsters in the Porsche Talent Team since 2012, Porsche has transferred its successful juniors programme in motorsport to tennis. In close collaboration with the Deutsche Tennis Bund (DTB – German Tennis Association), the primary intention of the support is to make the set-up for talented juniors more professional by enhancing individual coaching and guidance both when practicing and at tournaments. In the 2019 season, Antonia Lottner will be given assistance along with Katharina Gerlach, Lena Rüffer and Jule Niemeier. All four will be looking to catch the eye and move on to greater things by performing at a consistently high level.

“For us, it is important to not only support Porsche Team Germany in the Fed Cup,” says Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG. “We also want to help promising juniors develop and accompany them on their way to the top. The Porsche Talent Team Germany is therefore a project that is very dear to our hearts.”
